Bring FPL Guru to your AI
FPL Guru connects as a remote MCP server.
Step 1 of 3
Pick a client
Choose a supported client below; setup and availability differ by client.
Claude Code connects with one CLI command. Codex uses two CLI steps: add the server, then sign in. Claude and other compatible clients add a custom connector in settings; ChatGPT uses Developer mode. Every path asks you to approve OAuth access in the client.
What access means
- FPL Guru never asks for your official FPL password.
- Scoped FPL data access stays within the FPL Guru account and the tools you choose to use.
- MCP writes can save a draft inside FPL Guru and link or replace the public FPL Team ID on your FPL Guru account.
- The current MCP tools do not change official FPL transfers, lineup, captain, or chip settings.
- Review your client's approval prompts before allowing a tool call, and disconnect the client whenever you want.
If sign-in or consent fails, disconnect the connector in the client and try again with the same FPL Guru account.
Step 2 of 3
Copy the setup
Connect the server
Claude Code CLI
- Run the command below in your terminal.
- Approve the OAuth prompt when Claude Code opens it.
claude mcp add --transport http fplguru https://mcp.fplguru.com/mcphttps://mcp.fplguru.com/mcpSet up routing for your first chat
Once you're connected, start a new conversation and say this. It loads FPL Guru's workflow routing for that conversation. ChatGPT, Codex, and Claude usually pick this up automatically from the server's instructions — but typing it yourself is the reliable path on every client, and it’s what makes the first conversation work well.
Set FPL Guru up for meOne limitation worth knowing: on a client that doesn't read server instructions automatically, this setup lasts for the current conversation only — start a new chat and you'll need to say it again.

Starter workflows
Copy a prompt into your connected client. Each starter maps only to tools in the current MCP conformance roster.
For any workflow marked Subscription required, entitlement is checked when its tools run; this page does not infer your current plan.
Set up FPL Guru
Load FPL Guru's workflow routing before you dive into other prompts — the reliable way to get a good first conversation on every client.

Troubleshooting
Connector or CLI command fails
If the Claude Code or Codex CLI command fails, update the CLI to a version with MCP support and run it again. If adding a custom connector fails in Claude settings, double check you pasted the endpoint exactly and retry. If ChatGPT Developer mode cannot create the connection, confirm you're on the web with an eligible account, Developer mode is enabled, and the endpoint is exact.
OAuth sign-in fails
If sign-in or consent fails, disconnect the connector in the client and try again with the same FPL Guru account.
Linked team is missing or stale
If your linked team is missing or stale, look up the current Team ID and relink it here; the manager preview runs before saving.
Unsupported client
If a client cannot use remote MCP over HTTPS with OAuth, that client is unsupported for this connection.
